Who Is Tralitver?

My name is Daniela M Campos, and I’m a literary translator specializing in romance, LGBTQ+ romance, and general fiction. At Tralitver, I work with authors and publishers who want to release their work in Spanish or English without losing the original voice of the text.

I have a strong commitment to diversity in storytelling and always maintain an open mind on all my projects. I believe every story deserves to be told with authenticity and professionalism in any language, and my job is to make sure that happens.

Where I'm From

Born and raised in Barcelona, Spain, I’m a proud mix of Spanish and Honduran heritage.

My Team

I handle the translation, formatting, and proofreading myself, but I also work with a designer and marketing collaborator.

FAQs

How long does a project usually take?

For a book of about 100,000 words, translation or proofreading generally takes around 1 to 2 months. Formatting typically adds another two weeks. Keep in mind that these timelines can change based on the project’s size, the services you need, and my current schedule.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes! I usually offer a three-installment payment plan: one upfront, one halfway through the project, and one upon final delivery.

I offer this option to make translations more manageable, especially for indie authors, and to keep things financially accessible. Installments can be spread over a maximum of four months, and all details are always clearly discussed and agreed upon in the contract.

What dialect of Spanish do you use?

I primarily work with Spanish from Spain, but I’m also fully equipped to translate into a neutral Spanish, which is easily understood by readers in various countries. My bicultural background, with half of my family from South America, along with my consistent exposure to different dialects, allows me to ensure your story connects with the widest possible audience.
